Moments
That day I heard
teasing laughter of destiny
mimicking our ignorance and thought process–Destiny questioned
our thoughts about past, present and future
in the book of life
depicting salty past, polished present
and wishing sunny future …Why can’t we understand
that everything shall be in the dustbin of time
and in the paintings of creation
all would be collage of unfulfilled thoughts —There would be only moments
and that too shall be in pyre of time.
Monsoon Melody (Rendezvous in Rain)
Darkened room,
pensive mood,
an evening of June,
hot and sultry…Sudden drops of rain
tapped the windowpane.
Squealing in delight
we came out
in trickling rains
hand in handDreamy moon light,
whispering stars,
cool breeze
and her blushing cheeksShivered huddles,
magical woven night,
and drenched lucidity…Soaked ecstasy,
thunderous roars,
dance and laughter,
and we were in misty rain.Treasured moments,
romantic togetherness,
soothing calmness,
and just sound of silence…Unspoken words
with finger touching
through eons of time;
with rainbow of love in the sky,
our rendezvous in rain!
